Natalia & The Moon is a Shakespearean-style romantic tragedy inspired by Hollywood-Golden-Age Classics of the ‘40s, ‘50s, and ‘60s, such as It’s a Wonderful Life, Casablanca, and Singin’ in the Rain. Thus, the film employs classic production techniques of the 1960s in the execution of its core creative elements, from set design to cinematography, while also narratively and visually mirroring the political and cinematic counterculture that came to define the 1970s post-moon landing. Natalia & the Moon uses its narrative to parallel modern disputes over ecological destruction and the depletion of natural resources by projecting the broader themes onto thestory of two people whose love is predicated on the belief that certain things are better left a mystery.
A Romantic Tragedy following a young man's motivations for climbing a rope to the moon, and following his harrowing journey to get there.

SYNOPSIS
As the Lunar Climb Initiative nears completion on their first-of-a-kind rope to space, Johnson, an uninspired poet yearning for something greater, enters a military training program in hopes of being selected as the first person to step foot on the moon. As Johnson navigates the tests and trials of the program, he dreams of Natalia, the long-lost love of his life, and their strange connection to the magical rock in the sky. Johnson's memories of Natalia soon reveal that being the first to climb to the moon is the only chance he has to reunite with the love of his life.
